Description

The Core Sensors CS84 intrinsically safe differential pressure transducer is designed for measuring differential pressure of liquids and gases in Class I, Division 1 intrinsically safe environments. It uses an all-welded stainless steel construction with a minimum IP65 rating and a 316L stainless steel, oil-filled sensing element that supports stable performance across a range of temperatures and resists corrosion. The device supports differential pressure ranges from 0.5 to 1,000 PSID, with options for uni-directional and bi-directional measurement, and is available with 1/4″ MNPT or FNPT process connections.

The CS84 transducer has a fully welded design without internal O-rings or seals, allowing operation in wet/wet, wet/dry, or dry/dry conditions. It is used in applications such as filter monitoring, sealed tank level measurement, and flow measurement across an orifice, and can be configured for use in demanding operating conditions.
