Description
The Ashcroft G2 pressure transducer offers gauge pressure measurement from 30 to 20,000 psi with a ±1.00% of span (total error band) accuracy. Additionally, compound pressure ranges are available from -14.7 up to 300 psi. The G2 housing features an all-welded sensor and pressure connection as well as all stainless steel wetted materials. A variety of process connection options are available along with both voltage and current output options.
Designed to combine performance and value, the Ashcroft G2 pressure transducer is targeted to meet the needs of original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in industrial applications such as off-road equipment, construction machinery, railroad and transportation, HVAC and refrigeration and many more. A 10-piece minimum order is required per configuration.

When should I choose a pressure transducer instead of a pressure transmitter?
Choose a pressure transducer when you need to convert pressure into an analog voltage signal, such as 0–5 VDC, 0–10 VDC or a ratiometric output, for connection to nearby control or monitoring equipment. A 4–20 mA configuration is generally preferable for longer cable runs, electrically noisy environments or industrial control loops because current signals are less affected by voltage drop and electrical interference. The G2 supports both voltage and 4–20 mA outputs, allowing it to serve either type of application.
What output signals are available?
Available Ashcroft G2 output options include 0–5 VDC, 0–10 VDC, 1–5 VDC, 1–6 VDC and 4–20 mA. The G2 is also available with a 0.5–4.5 VDC output using a 9–36 VDC supply or a 0.5–4.5 VDC ratiometric output using a 5 VDC supply. The appropriate output should be selected based on the input requirements of the connected controller, display or data-acquisition system.
What does Total Error Band mean?
Total Error Band, or TEB, represents the combined effect of multiple potential measurement errors across a specified temperature range. For the G2, it includes non-linearity, hysteresis, non-repeatability, temperature effects, zero offset and span-setting errors. The G2 has a Total Error Band accuracy of ±1% of span from -4 to 185°F and ±1.5% of span across the extended portions of its -40 to 257°F compensated temperature range.
