The Optris CX infrared thermometer is designed for rugged industrial applications with a wide temperature range of -22 to 1652°F and high temperature resistance. It features simultaneous two-wire output and digital communication, and two-wire installation or computer connectivity via USB.

It has a 4 to 20mA analog output, alarm output, and programmable functional input. Adjustable signal processing parameters include peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis.

The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download, and is necessary to document and analyze temperature measurement data. It is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and PC systems via Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
