Description
The Optris CTvideo 1M / 2M infrared temperature sensor uses both video and laser crosshair sighting to align sensors for accurate temperature measurements of metal or ceramic surfaces as small as 0.02 inches. Its short measuring wavelength of 1 or 1.6μm reduces errors when measuring surfaces with low or unknown emissivity. The CTvideo 1M / 2M has temperature ranges from 482 to 3992°F (250 to 2200°C) and can be used in temperatures up to 158°F (70°C) without additional cooling.
The CTvideo 1M / 2M features a USB interface, peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis. Field selectable analog output options include 0/4-20mA, 0-5 and 0-10 V, type K or J thermocouples, and alarm. It also features laser switch-off at 122°F (50°C).
The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download and is necessary to document and analyze temperature measurement data. It is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and PC systems via Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
