The Georg Fischer Type VFA Butterfly Valve is an economical solution for medium to light duty butterfly valve applications. The valve is made of durable PVC and its light weight is a good fit for systems already incorporating plastic pipe and fittings. The disc seal is separate from the flange seal reducing torque requirements. Primarily aimed at water applications, the valve is available in sizes 2.5 to 8 inches and can handle 150 PSI (90 PSI for 8in). The valve is available only in PVC and has a zinc-coated steel shaft.
