The Amprobe AM-140-A precision TRMS digital multimeter with PC connection is a feature-rich commercial grade meter at a great price. The AM-140-A measures voltage up to 1000 V AC/DC, resistance, AC/DC current, frequency, capacitance and duty cycle. The meter features an optical-isolated, PC interface capability, crest (peak hold), MAX, MIN MAX-MIN recording, auto and manual ranging, auto-power off, data hold, relative zero mode and more.

The display is an easy-to-read large, backlight LCD with 4-4/5 digits 50,000 count with a selectable stable mode 5-4/5 digits 500,000 counts for DC voltage, and 6 digits 999,999 counts for HZ. In 4-4/5 digits fast mode the screen update rate is 5 per second nominal and in 4-4/5 digits stable mode the screen update rate is 1.25 per second nominal. The Amprobe AM-140-A has a CAT IV 600V, CAT III 1000V safety rating.
