The Rotronic HygroPalm 23 handheld humidity meter is the latest development in handheld measuring instruments for relative humidity, temperature and dew point. Based on AirChip3000 technology, the Rotronic HygroPalm 23 achieves a degree of accuracy not seen before as well as outstanding repeatability, auto-diagnostics and auto correction along with the ability to perform all psychrometric calculations.
The HygroPalm 23 can read the data from up to two HygroClip 2 probes and display relative humidity, temperature and a calculated parameter such as the dew or frost point. The accuracy of humidity readings is an unprecedented ±0.8%. Up to 20,000 readings can be stored on the meter for later recall. These values can also be displayed graphically or transferred to a computer via the mini-USB interface with the optional Rotronic HW4 software. HygroPalm 23 indicator also has an extensive set of settings and functions that can be enabled and configured by the user either directly from the keypad or with the HW4 software. In spite of its sophistication, the HP23 can still be used just as a simple humidity and temperature indicator.
Rotronic HygroPalm 23 handheld humidity meters utilize HygroClip 2 probes which are available in many models to suit specific applications, from simple plug-in probes for use with a handheld instrument or data logger to a more sophisticated cable probe for high temperature and other special applications.
Both the HygroPalm 23 humidity meter and HygroClip 2 probes incorporate AirChip3000 technology. The intelligence of AirChip3000 technology enables advanced sensor diagnostics. Humidity and temperature readings are compensated over 30,000 reference points. Should the sensors deviate from factory defined parameters, measurement values can be compensated automatically and a digital alarm triggered. AirChip3000 technology also includes a data logging features that allows up to 2,000 measurement values to be stored within the probe. Additionally, the user is able to configure the measurement interval, set alarm limits, scale the output signal and download data using optional Rotronic HW4 software.
