The Extech 42509 infrared thermometer with color alert is great for processes that require temperature control and monitoring. The thermometer takes fast and accurate measurements at 12" where the two lasers converge with 12:1 field of view and measures up to 950°F (510°C)

The Extech 42509 infrared thermometer features a blue backlit dual display that changes and flashes to a red backlit display when the temperature reading exceeds the high or low set points. The red backlit display will continue to flash until normal temperature is reached.

The Extech 42509 infrared thermometer features an exclusive 150 millisecond instantaneous response for capturing spikes in temperature. The max mode captures and holds rapidly changing temperatures. The lock function is used for continuous readings(disables auto power off), and the adjustable emissivity increases measurement accuracy for different surfaces.
