The Extech DV50 telescoping AC voltage detector allows for a non-contact detection of AC voltage up to 1000 VAC. It also features a telescoping probe, which gives the unit a total reach of 39" (1m) for hard-to-reach areas. This Extech voltage detector also has a red LED voltage indicator and on/off controlled audible beeper.

Other features of the Extech DV50 telescoping AC voltage detector include sensitivity adjustment which increases or reduces the sensor trigger threshold and safety ratings of EN 61326 CAT IV 600V and EN 61326 CAT III 1000V. The Extech DV50 comes complete with two LR44 button batteries.
