With a temperature range from -31 to 466°F (-35 to 230°C), and a basic accuracy of ±(2.0% rdg) or ±4°F (±2°C), you can ensure a quality reading from this Extech infrared thermometer. Other features of the Extech IR100 mini IR thermometer include automatic data hold when the measure button is released, max and min hold, a lock feature for continuous scanning, and its fixed emissivity covers 90% of surface applications.

This Extech IR unit also has an auto power off function which will help save battery life.
