The Panametrics OptiSonde chilled mirror hygrometer utilizes either a bench or wall mounted analyzer with a single or two-stage chilled mirror sensor and PRTD to display and transmit a variety of parameters, such as dew point, relative humidity, dry bulb, wet bulb, absolute humidity, volume ratio, and mass ratio, making the Panametrics OptiSonde chilled mirror hygrometer a flexible instrument for a wide variety of applications.
Designed for easy installation and intuitive operation, the Panametrics OptiSonde chilled mirror hygrometer is simple to configure via the front panel keys, and an LCD display indicates two user-configured parameters simultaneously. The Panametrics OptiSonde chilled mirror hygrometer provides two user-configured analog (4 to 20mA) outputs. The analyzer is also equipped with a data logger capable of recording for 100 days at a sample rate of 1 second and is equipped with an internal real-time clock.
The Panametrics OptiSonde chilled mirror hygrometer's saved data is uploaded to a PC using terminal software as ASCII delimited text, enabling it to be opened by Excel and other spreadsheet programs for data reduction, graphing and statistical analysis. Communication is via a digital RS-232 interface for data integrity.
The Panametrics OptiSonde chilled mirror hygrometer features a sophisticated control system to ensure the optimal operation of the system. The patented PACER cycle automatically cleans the mirror to ensure measurement integrity. The measurements and calibration of the Panametrics OptiSonde chilled mirror hygrometer are NIST traceable.
