The handheld Extech 42560 infrared thermometer offers a wide temperature range (-58 to 1022°F / -50 to 1050°C) for non-contact temperature readings. With a wireless PC interface, the Extech 42560 infrared thermometer is able to transmit temperature data to a PC.

The Extech 42560 infrared thermometer features an adjustable high/low alarm which alerts users visually and audibly when temperature exceeds programmed limits. Continuous readings can be transmitted to a PC via remote receiver and USB connection by placing the Extech 42560 infrared thermometer on the base station. Other functions of the Extech 42560 infrared thermometer include data hold, auto power off with disable function, and low battery indication.
