The all stainless steel AST4400 pressure sensor is a low cost, high quality, media isolated pressure sensor intended for use in the measurement of gases and liquids compatible with stainless steel. The AST4400 pressure sensor is approved to UL 913 (CSA 157) Class 1, Div 1, Groups C and D for use in intrinsically safe areas when used with an approved barrier.
AST4400 pressure sensors are suitable for use in the oil patch regions, refineries, water treatment plants, natural gas compressors, and pharmaceutical applications. The AST4400 pressure sensor has been designed specifically for those applications with demanding price and performance requirements.

The high strength stainless steel construction of the AST4400 pressure sensor contains no silicone oil, no welds, and no internal O rings. The AST4000 pressure sensor offers measurements in gauge and sealed gauge pressure covering ranges up to 10,000 PSI.
