The Bacharach MGS-460 gas detector is designed for safety compliance in refrigeration applications where halogenated and natural refrigerants may be present. This MGS-400 Series unit offers users the option to choose from a variety of pre-calibrated sensors including refrigerants, CO2, NH3, O2, CO, combustible gases or NO2. Its digital communications allow the detector to integrate with BMS and BAS control systems easily via Modbus. Additionally, the MGS-460 is equipped with one configurable analog output and three SPDT relays with fixed low/high fault alarms.

Housed in an IP41 enclosure standard (IP66 optional), the Bacharach MGS-460 gas detector features a single tri-color LED (green, red, orange)and a 72dB buzzer. Depending on sensor selection, this Bacharach gas detector can operate in temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C) and as high as 122°F (50°C). The audible and visual alarms require no additional hardware and comply with ASHRAE 15 / EN378. Bacharach's mobile app interface simplifies commissioning, configuration and maintenance and requires no special training or tools to set alarm behaviors or thresholds.
