The Optris CTvideo 3M infrared thermometer uses both video and laser crosshair sighting to align sensors for accurate low temperature measurements of metal or ceramic surfaces as small as 0.02 inches. It's short measuring wavelength of 2.3μm reduces errors when measuring surfaces with low or unknown emissivity. The CTvideo 3M has temperature ranges from 122 to 3272°F and can be used in temperatures up to 158°F without additional cooling.
The CTvideo 3M features peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis. Field selectable analog output options include: 0/4-20mA, 0-5 and 0-10 V, type K or J thermocouples, alarm, and optional USB 2.0 and Ethernet outputs.
The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download, and is necessary to document and analyze temperature measurement data. It is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and PC systems via Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
