The Optris CTlaser LT / LTF infrared thermometer temperature can recognize temperature changes within as little as 9ms. It is designed for temperature surveillance of fast processes for non-metallic surfaces, such as plastics, varnishes, wood, or paper. It can measure objects as small as 0.04in at a distance of 2.7in. It has a temperature range of -58 to 1787°F, and can function in temperatures up to 185°F without additional cooling.
Selectable analog outputs and multiple digital interfaces offer high variability. The Optris CTlaser LT / LTF includes a programmable functional input for setting external emissivity, ambient temperature compensation, and reset of hold functions. It also features peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis, all field configurable with the USB programming kit (ACCTUSBK).
Field selectable analog output options include: 0/4-20mA, 0-5 and 0-10 V, type K or J thermocouples, and alarm on channel 1. Channel 2 outputs sensing head temperatures up to 185°F as 0-5 and 0-10V and an alarm output. Optional USB, RS485, RS232 interface, 2 optically isolated relay outputs, CAN-Bus, Profibus DP, and Ethernet available with plug in options.
The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download, and is necessary to document and analyze temperature measurement data. It is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and PC systems via Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
