The AST46DS Explosion Proof Pressure Transducer is designed for the toughest conditions. Featuring rugged construction and CSA Explosion-Proof and Non-Incendive approvals, the AST46DS is housed in a high quality, NEMA 4X case that withstands salt spray and harsh outdoor environments. The AST46DS is particularly well suited for oil and gas well site applications and is an excellent solution for offshore platforms.

The AST46DS has a pressure range of up to 20,000 for gauge pressure or 200 psi for vacuum calibrated units. An integral display is included to show all measurement information. Users can cycle through the display modes of the output signal and six different pressure unit types. Additionally, users can re-zero the zero pressure reading through the push button display. A choice of process connections makes installation easy.

The AST46DS is a highly accurate instrument with a basic accuracy of ±0.25%. A choice of 4 to 20 mA or 1-5 vdc outputs is available. The voltage output signal has low voltage consumption making it ideal for SCADA / RTU sites powered by solar panels in remote locations.
