The KPSI 735 Level Transducer includes UL and CUL safety approvals. The FM intrinsic safety approval standard is included for all versions except those with output 4-20 mA, temperature option. The transducers are specifically designed to meet the rigorous environments encountered in liquid level measurement and control. They can be configured to perform to specifications under most adverse, reactive conditions.

Level Measurement in a Water Tower

The Background: Our customer is a municipal water district that wants the ability to measure water level in an elevated water tank.

The Problem: Because the tank is elevated, a full tank would be about 120 feet whereas an empty vessel would still read around 70 feet.

The Solution: We recommended the KPSI 735 submersible hydrostatic level transducer. The 735 allows us to have a non-zero application range which results in accuracies about twice as good as transducers with a zero-based range.
