The BW Technologies GasPoint transmitter provides continuous monitoring of hazardous gases by using advanced sensor technology and micro-controller based operation. The interchangeable electrochemical, infrared and catalytic plug-in sensors on the BW Technologies GasPoint transmitter provides a 4-20 mA output signal that can be connected to any control system.

The simple operation for the BW Technologies GasPoint transmitter allows calibration interval and gas alarm setpoints to be changed or set in the field. The GasPoint transmitter can accept any GasPoint sensor type: electrochemical, catalytic or IR (infrared). All plug-in sensor assemblies are field-interchangeable.

The BW Technologies GasPoint transmitter is equipped with three 5-amp relay contacts - two gas alarm relays (low/high) and one fault alarm. The alarm relays on the GasPoint transmitter are field-selectable and have normally energized/de-energized and latching/non-latching functions. The two backlit LCDs advise of all environmental and gas hazard conditions as well as instrument and sensor status.

The optional plug-in MODBUS expansion module on the GasPoint transmitter provides an addressable communications interface. The BW Technologies GasPoint transmitter ships complete with transmitter, stainless steel sensor assembly, test cap and manual.
