The Extech 401027 light meter offers a compact, pocket light meter for basic lighting applications such as ambient light testing, security light testing, and compliance with safety regulations. The Extech 401027 light meter has two selectable light ranges, 0 to 200 Fc or 0 to 2,000 Fc. The a maximum resolution is 0.1 Fc and basic accuracy is ±5% of reading.

The Extech 401027 light meter also features a large, 3-1/2 digit LCD display with overrange indication. A precision color-corrected, photo-diode sensor increases the accuracy of the unit. The Extech 401027 light meter is battery operated and includes low battery indication.

The Extech 401027 light meter comes complete with 9V battery, light sensor and protective cover with 47" (1.2m) cable, and built-in stand.
