The Extech SL130 sound level alert with alarm features built-in LEDs that alert the user when the sound level is too high or too low. The Extech SL130 sound level alert features bright LEDs that can be read from up to 100ft (30m) away. Other features of the Extech SL130 sound level alert include continuous monitoring of sound levels and a user settable high or low limit (30 to 130dB) indication with an output to drive an external relay module. The Extech SL130 sound level alert with alarm is ideal for industrial, hospital, auditoriums, schools, and other areas where there is a need for being alerted when sound level reaches set point.
The Extech SL130 sound level alert meets ANSI Type 2 standards and EN 60651 accuracy. The specifications are compliant to OSHA standards as well. The Extech SL130 sound level alert can be wall, desk, or tripod mounted. The microphone rotates 180° for desired placement and has an optional 15 ft microphone extension cable to facilitate remote monitoring.
Applications for the Extech SL130 Sound Level Alert:

The user can set the Extech SL130 sound level alert so the red LEDs flash when the sound level is below the LO set point where people in the audience may not be able to hear. When the sound level is above the LO set point, the Extech SL130 sound level alert's green LEDs indicate the sound level is acceptable. The user can reverse the red and green LEDs activation per user color preference.
