The Monarch Pocket Tach 99 tachometer is a portable, non-contact, optical tachometer, which operates from between 2 to 36 inches (±30°) from a reflective tape target using an LED light source.

The Pocket Tach 99 tachometer features a 5-digit alphanumeric LCD display. The range for the Monarch Instrument Pocket Tach 99 tachometer is 5 to 99,999 RPM with an accuracy of ±0.01%. Resolution is autoranging from 0.001 to 1.0 RPM.

The ergonomic design of this tachometer allows safe, direct line-of-sight viewing of both the rotating target and the display at the same time, while providing a no-slip rubber surface for single hand operation. It combines advanced features with value which makes it a great instrument for a wide variety of applications.
