This calibrator creates a 1kHz sine wave to an accuracy of 5% (frequency) and ±0.5dB (±0.8dB for 114dB), to calibrate and verify sound level meter operation. The Extech 407766 is for use with sound level meters with 0.5" or 1.0" microphones. This calibrators is made from durable die-cast, aluminum housing for long life. The Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) is less than 2% at 94dB.
