Alcon NAMUR valves are high-flow, high-speed solenoid valves designed for use in hazardous areas and extreme environments. With universal 5/2 or 3/2 operations and a NAMUR interface for actuator mounting, this series is suitable for piloting single or double actuators for offshore, processing and chemical industries.
Alcon NAMUR valves are zero pressure rated and include a 1/4" NPT port. The valves feature an explosion-proof, submersible, water-tight and dust-tight aluminum body making them suitable for use indoors or out. Nitrile seals ensure reliable operation while meeting requirements for operation in a wide range of environments. A solenoid-activated spool valve system allows for rapid response times of up to five cycles per second and the duty cycle of the coil has been rated for a multimillion-cycle life span.
