Description
The Extech IR400 mini IR thermometer features a compact design with a built-in laser pointer that identifies the target area and improves your aim. Backlighting illuminates the display for taking measurements at night or in areas with low background light levels.
Other features of the Extech IR400 mini IR thermometer include a measurement range from -4° to 630°F (-20° to 332°C), automatic data hold when the trigger is released, min/max hold and auto power-off. The fixed 0.95 emissivity covers 90% of surface applications and the IR400 also offers an 8:1 distance-to-target ratio.
With a basic accuracy of ±2% of reading +4°F/2°C, the Extech IR400 mini IR thermometer is ideal for automotive applications, testing for temperature in heating systems and even checking buildings for insufficient insulation.
