Description

The AEMC PowerPad 8335 is a three-phase power quality analyzer that is easy-to-use, compact and shock resistant. It is intended for technicians and engineers to measure and perform diagnostic work and power quality work on one, two or three phase low voltage networks.

The AEMC PowerPad 8335 has 2 GB of memory that is conveniently partitioned to let you store four different types of data, synchronized or independent of each other. You can store up to 50 screen snapshots, up to 300 captured transients that contain four cycles for each active input, and 10,000 alarm events from up to 40 different parameters. You can also record trend data for days, weeks or even months.

The AEMC PowerPad 8335 has many great features above and beyond basic TRMS voltage and current measurement. The 8335 can take harmonic measurements (referenced to the fundamental or RMS value) for voltage, current or power, up to the 50th harmonic. Harmonic sequencing and direction, as well as calculation of overall harmonics can be displayed. Also available is a real time display of Phasor diagrams including values and phase angles. The 8335 can monitor the average value of any parameter, which is calculated for a period of 1 second to 2 hours. The 8335 can also measure active, reactive and apparent power per phase and their respective sum total.

Other features of the AEMC PowerPad 8335 also include calculation of power factor, displacement power factor and tangent factor. To assist in troubleshooting the 8335 records, time stamps and characterizes disturbances; swells, sags and interuptions in exceedence of power and harmonic thresholds. The 8335 has ample memory; 2 GB of internal trend recording memory, while keeping alarm, photo and transient inrush memories separate.

The AEMC PowerPad model 8335 ships complete with:

  • (5) 10 ft. black voltage leads
  • (5) black alligator clips
  • (12) color-coded rings
