Description
The Extech EX210 mini digital multimeter offers eight functions, a rugged design and built-in infrared (IR) thermometer. The IR thermometer utilizes a laser pointer for aiming and allows users to quickly identify overheating motors or locate hot spots on electrical panels and HVAC vents without contact. The 2000-count, large backlit dual LCD with easy-to-read digits clearly displays the measurements taken.
Other features of Extech EX210 mini digital multimeters include max hold, input fuse protection, auto power off and data hold. The EX210 also offers AC and DC voltage measurement from 0.1mV to 600V. With a basic accuracy of 0.5%, the EX210 is also capable of measuring current down to 0.1µA. The infrared (IR) thermometer measures temperature from -5 to 446°F (-20 to 230°C) with a 4:1 distance to target ratio . Additionally, the Extech EX210 measures resistance from 0.1Ω to 20MΩ, along with the continuity/diode test.
