The TSI Alnor RVA801 rotating vane anemometer is designed for measurement of air velocity and volume flow at return grilles, fume hoods, kitchen exhausts and other HVAC applications. It features a rotating head which functions in all positions from 0 to 180° allowing a clear view of the LCD display while the instrument is oriented with the flow direction.
With an accuracy of ±1.0% of reading ±4 ft/min (±0.02 m/s), the TSI Alnor RVA801 features a measuring range of 50 to 6,000 ft/min (0.25 to 30 m/s). The unit also measures the temperature of the air flow from 32 to 140°F (0 to 60°C). The RVA801 is effective for duct sizes from 0.043 to 900 ft2 (0.00399 to 90 m2). Other features of the TSI Alnor RVA801 rotating vane anemometer include volumetric flow rate calculations, air cone flow hood compatibility, no density correction factors required and automatic averaging of air velocity.
TSI Alnor RVA801 rotating vane anemometers ship complete with carrying case, alkaline batteries, operation and service manual and NIST calibration certificate. Optional air cone flow hoods are also available as an accessory to the TSI Alnor RVA801. These hoods will enhance the capability of your RVA801, turning it into an air volume flow balancing tool.
