Description

The Rotronic HygroFlex-7 series of temperature and humidity transmitters are designed for fixed installation in industrial applications. Equipped with a metal enclosure and a metal probe that can survive exposure to temperatures up to 200°C (392°F), the HygroFlex-7 can handle the toughest industrial environments.

Designed for applications where the conditions are within the range of 0 to 100 %RH and -100 to 150°C (-148 to 302°F), the HygroFlex-7 is accurate to ±1.0%RH and ±0.2°C. The HygroFlex-7 transmitter is available in different configurations and has an extensive set of settings and functions that can be configured and enabled with the Rotronic HW4 software after connecting the HygroFlex-7 to a PC. In spite of its sophistication, the HygroFlex-7 can still be used as a simple conventional humidity and temperature transmitter.

The HygroFlex7-series is compatible with HygroClip2 probes with integrated AirChip3000 technology - which achieve a degree of accuracy not seen before. AirChip3000 technology compensates humidity and temperature over 30,000 reference points, has a 2000 data point memory, calculates dew/frost point, has sensor auto-diagnostics and automatic correction. AirChip3000 also includes active alarming and information, as well as ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit); micro-controller and EEPROM on one chip.

The HygroFlex7-series is available in a duct mount version that includes a robust industrial housing. Units are available as 3/4-wire transmitters.
