Techne Water Bath Thermoregulators are temperature calibration systems that utilize high quality, interchangeable Techne components yielding an accurate, temperature stable system for calibrating temperatures from -40°C to 250°C. Users select the thermoregulator style, bath size and any accessories needed.

Thermoregulators

Techne Thermoregulators are designed to be used with the Techne unheated water baths or any other suitable laboratory equipment. Techne Thermoregulators will heat, circulate and safely control the temperature of the liquid in the bath within precise limits. There are four available models of thermoregulators:

  • TE-10A Tempette:
    Range: -20 to 95°C; stability: ±0.01°C; analog control
  • TE-10D Tempette:
    Range: -40 to 120°C; stability: ±0.01°C; digital control
  • TU-20D Tempunit®:
    Range: -40 to 200°C; stability: ±0.005°C; digital control
  • TU-20HT Tempunit®:
    Range: -40 to 250°C; stability: ±0.005°C; digital control

Baths

Designed to be used with a clip-on thermoregulator, Techne unheated baths are available in 8, 12, 18, 26 and 48 liters sizes. Equipped with carrying handles for safety, all Techne baths have quality construction and a splash-proof case. The 8, 12, 18 and 26 liter baths feature stainless steel construction and seam-free, corrosion resistant stainless steel inners for easy cleaning. The 48 liter model offers welded construction with all submerged parts made from stainless steel. The temperature limit for baths is 200°C.

Covers & Trays

Both gabled and flat lids are available for all Techne bath sizes. Gabled lids particularly allow tall tubes to be accommodated.

Dip & Flow Coolers

Techne dip and flow coolers work in conjunction with Techne thermoregulators. The bath liquid flows through the flow coolers, which continually extracts heat from the bath fluid by means of the heat exchanger. The cooling head of the Techne dip cooler fits neatly unobtrusively into the corner of the bath and can be secured with a specifically designed mounting bracket, which is supplied.
