The Extech CT100 network cable tester checks for shorts, opens, miswires and reversals on EIA/TIA568A and 568B and 10Base-T cable. Shield detection tests the shield integrity. The Extech CT100 network cable tester can be used for testing installed wiring and jumper cables, shielded or unshielded twisted pair cable; Cat 5e, Cat 5, Cat 4 and Cat 3. CATV features include an "F" connector for troubleshooting CATV coaxial installations.
