The Meriam MFC 4150 Portable HART Communicator supports all HART devices at the Universal and Command Practice command levels plus a large and growing list of devices at the Device specific command level. The Meriam MFC 4150 can be used to commission devices in either step-by-step configuration or document as-left configuration. The Meriam MFC 4150 is useful for various reconfiguration operations such as process changes, batch runs, documenting as-found and as-left configurations and populating DMS database software. It can also be used for device maintenance functions including troubleshooting devices with HART, viewing device error messages and device cloning to commission replacements.
The Meriam MFC 4150 has a battery life of 60 hours (without backlight) using AA alkaline batteries. It has a quick startup and connect of only 15 seconds. The dongle coordinates AC power adapter and serial communication all in one cable making it possible to clone, upload and download configurations. An off-line mode is available for developing / reviewing configurations.
The Meriam MFC 4150 HART Communicator ships complete with HART lead kit, batteries, communication / AC adapter dongle, RS-232 serial cable, universal power adapter, protective boot, soft carrying case, adjustable shoulder strap, user's manual, CE mark, and CD (includes user's manual and DPC manager utility).
