The Extech MA600 Series clamp meters are 600A True RMS meters and feature integrated non-contact voltage detector. Both models of the Extech MA600 Series clamp meter, the MA620 and MA640, offer a built-in non-contact voltage detector with LED alert and a 1.5" (40mm) jaw size for conductors up to 500MCM. The MA640 also measures DC current, which the MA620 model does not.

Other features for both models of the Extech MA600 Series clamp meter include a 6,000 count backlit LCD display, multimeter functions including AC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature, duty cycle, diode and continuity. Relative mode for capacitance zero and offset adjustment, data hold and Min/Max are also offered with the Extech MA620 and MA640 clamp meters.

The Extech MA600 Series clamp meters come complete with test leads, Type K bead wire temperature probe (-22 to 572°F/-30 to 300°C), 9V battery and carrying case.
