The Extech 407744 is a precision, professional quality sound calibrator. This calibrator creates a 1kHz sine wave to an accuracy of 5% (frequency) and ±0.5dB (±0.8dB for 114dB), to calibrate and verify sound level meter operation. The Extech 407744 is for use with sound level meters with 0.5" or 1.0" microphones. This calibrator is made from durable die-cast, aluminum housing for long life. The Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) is less than 2% at 94dB.
