The autoranging Extech EX420/EX430 multimeter has 11 advanced measurement functions that include: AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, diode test, and continuity plus thermocouple temperature.
The Extech EX420 multimeter is an averaging instrument while the Extech EX430 multimeter features True RMS. The relative function feature establishes a base line reading for reference. A Type K thermometer is built into the Extech EX420/EX430 multimeter for surface or air temperature measurements. The large 4000 count backlit LCD display with 1 inch digits allows for easy measurement reading.
