Fixed Infrared Thermometers monitor the surface temperatures of a process without making physical contact. Infrared thermometers measure the temperature from a distance by detecting the amount of thermal electromagnetic radiation emitted by an object. Fixed infrared thermometers can quickly and safely measure a moving process and send output choices to a controller, recorder, computer or PLC.
