Turbine / Paddlewheel Flow Meters
Turbine or Paddlewheel Meters are mechanical meters that have a freely rotating rotor that spins as the fluid passes by. The rate of spin will be proportional to the velocity of the flow and can be achieved in a multitude of designs. These flow meters can be used in many industries and applications, but do best in constant process conditions in liquids such as water or lower viscosity fluids.
